Membership

NMGS members receive a discount on publications during the annual January sale, a discount on the Annual Spring Meeting, and can register to attend the annual Fall Field Conference. In addition, your membership supports the mission of the Society which includes several scholarships to geoscience students at New Mexico colleges and universities.

You can join NMGS either online (see below), by phone (see below), or by mail (forms that you can print and mail are available in PDF or MSWord formats).

If you are not sure if your membership is current, you can check your status via a separate form.

Membership lists are distributed to members annually but are not posted online for privacy concerns. Please do not use your membership list for commercial purposes.

Associate membership: Dues ($15.00)
For those with an interest in geology or allied science

Lifetime membership: Dues ($150.00)

Note:
If you have placed publications for purchase in your cart, they will not be included in this membership application. To complete payment for pending items, after you complete your membership payment, please click the 'View Cart' link at the top of any NMGS page (or click a 'buy now' link for an additional item). The separation of membership dues/conference registration from publication sales is necessary to keep the Societies' accounting more managable.
